My goal is to continuously develop the Palucca University of Dance Dresden so that creative learning plays a central role in all areas. All students, whether in their training as dancers, dance educators or choreographers, should be encouraged to find their own voice. Each should be given the opportunity to learn individually, to grow, to take risks in order to develop into independent, creative artists. For me, the individual is the focus of a curriculum that is made up equally of the elements of classical dance, contemporary dance and improvisation and is intended to encourage everyone to explore these three mutually complementary disciplines. I hope that the boundaries between classical dance, improvisation and contemporary dance will disappear, thus creating new forms of artistic expression. I am working on establishing the Palucca University of Dance Dresden as a vibrant creative centre of dance education with regional, national and international relevance.
