The university archive of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden stores historically and legally significant documents from all organs, committees and institutions of the university as well as its direct predecessor institutions. It holds approximately 350 meters of written material, including student files, bequests, posters, flyers, etc. The collection also contains more than 2,600 film recordings of school programs, public performances and internal rehearsals, as well as recordings of the final examinations of all degree programs over the past 16 years.

In addition, approximately 10,000 photographic units document the diversity of dance creation. With its almost complete collection of approximately 5,000 press articles on the work of Gret Palucca and the development of the school up to the present day, the university archive has a unique fund that is of particular interest to dance historians and dance scholars.
