The project VALITA comprises the scientific validation and optimization of dance medicine measures aimed at increasing the academic success of pupils and students at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden.

In addition, it includes an image campaign with a thematic ambassador program that promotes targeted recruitment of young boys and men in the field of dance and contributes to improving gender parity among the university’s student body.

The planned measures are intended to increase students’ academic success in the medium term while simultaneously reducing the dropout rate across the entire student life cycle.

The project is funded by the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK) and the European Union for the period from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
