Privacy Statement

The body responsible for the lawful processing of personal data on our website is the Palucca University of Dance Dresden, Basteiplatz 4, 01277 Dresden.

The Data Protection Officer at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden is:

Susanne Lehnhardt, datenschutz(at)palucca.eu

We only store and collect personal data (e. g., names and e-mail addresses) via this website if you voluntarily provide us with such data in the context of specific usage procedures (e. g., registration for our newsletter or in our alumni database including newsletter), some of which are mandatory fields (*).

The Palucca University of Dance Dresden does not disclose the data collected within the context of the use of our website to third parties. Collected data will only be used for the stated purposes. They will not be used for any other purpose without your express consent.

Your data will only be stored by us as long as it is necessary for the specified purpose and if there are no statutory retention periods which would prevent its deletion.

If you wish to receive information about what personal data is stored, or if you wish to make a correction, declare restriction of data use or request deletion of your personal data, you can contact us by mail or via the following email address: info(at)palucca.eu

We will comply with your request immediately. Please note, however, that deletion is not possible as soon as legal provisions (e. g., statutory retention periods) prevent this.

We would like to point out that data transmission, in particular by email via the Internet is currently essentially unsecured. It cannot be entirely ruled out that transmitted data may be read and possibly even falsified by unauthorised persons.

We offer all those interested in the University the opportunity to stay informed about the latest University news by means of a newsletter. Registration for this newsletter is on an entirely voluntary basis over the University’s homepage. For this purpose, an email address is required - the provided name is used exclusively for personalising the newsletter. After the registration you will receive a confirmation email from us with which we ensure that the email address you have provided is correct.

Registration for all former students and staff in the University’s alumni network can also be completed via the University homepage. Here again, a name and an email address are required. After registration, you will receive an email with a registration form which we ask you to complete and return as confirmation. The questions asked therein as well as in the registration are voluntary information and will only be used for the purposes approved by you in advance. These can be: storage of data for alumni activities (e. g., invitations to events), use of the collected data for the University Internet presence (homepage and social networks) and/or sending you the alumni newsletter.

The data collected for sending newsletters and the alumni network will not be used for other purposes, linked to other data, or transmitted to third parties. The administration and transmission of the data is carried out via the internal University mail server, i.e. no external service providers are used.
You can, of course, revoke your consent to the use of your data at any time by unsubscribing informally via e-mail (presse(at)palucca.eu). Your personal data will subsequently be deleted immediately and you will not receive any further mail.
