Horrified and stunned, we have been following the events in Ukraine. The Palucca University of Dance Dresden condemns Russia's attack in the strongest possible terms. Our thoughts are with all people in and from the Ukraine, in their worries, fears and suffering. We declare our solidarity with the Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and likewise reassure our support to Russians who are committed to peace, democracy and freedom.
The Palucca University of Dance Dresden stands for an open and liberal society and a peaceful coexistence of all. People of more than 26 nations live, learn and work at our University. Dance is our common language and lived through international understanding. These days make us painfully aware of the fact that peace and freedom cannot be taken for granted and of how important it is to strive for and preserve these values.
