ERASMUS+ Student Exchange Program (Incoming) KA 131
The ERASMUS+ KA 131 program supports study visits to and from Erasmus+ partner universities.
Requirements for an ERASMUS+ exchange:
- The home university is ECHE certified.
- The cooperation is taking place within the framework of the KA 131 mobility project (mobility project for students and university staff).
Visiting students from one of Palucca`s Erasmus+ partner institutions are considered “Erasmus+ exchange” students. Erasmus exchange students remain registered at their home institutions.
How to apply:
- Student’s home institution nominates student
- Student submits their application documents via E-Mail to PHfT
Students cannot nominate themselves. They must be nominated by their home institution.
Application deadline - Bachelor Dance Program: February 28, 2027 for winter semester 2027/2028 (semester start August 2027)
The following application documents should be submitted:
- Application form
- Letter of nomination (PDF document) - Your home institution has to nominate you for exchange studies and we only accept nominations via your application. The nomination must accompany your application by a letter containing the following:
- Full name of applicant
- Date of birth
- Citizenship
- Study programme at home institution
- Study programme applied for at PHfT
- Current semester at home institution
- Semester applied for at PHfT
If the nomination letter is missing in your application, your application will not be assessed. The International Office at your institution should be the signing part of the letter. Please note that no other type of nominations will be accepted.
- Letter of recommendation (PDF document)
- Letter of motivation (as a PDF document)
- Transcript of records from your home university
- Tabular resume (CV) providing detailed information on previous school education and training (PDF document)
- Headshot photo (jpg format)
- two to three dance photos (jpg format)
- Language certificate: English level B1
- Application videos:
The application videos should show the skills in modern/contemporary dance, classical dance and improvisation of the applicant. Please follow the IAP Guidelines. Examples can be found on the University's YouTube channel. Please submit five video links with your application:
1. Classical variation (female dancers in pointe shoes)
2. Modern/contemporary etude
3. Three to five minutes barre work (female dancers in pointe shoes)
4. Three to five minutes centre work (female dancers in pointe shoes)
5. Improvisation (topic, place, music can be chosen freely)

SEMP Student Exchange (Incoming)
The Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) is a mobility program similar to the Erasmus+ program and promotes study and teaching stays at and from Swiss partner universities.
The main difference to Erasmus+ is that the scholarships are provided by the Swiss side.
Target group of the following information: Students at partner universities in Switzerland who are interested in studying at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden for a Bachelor's degree in Dance
Your application for a SEMP stay should be submitted to the SEMP coordinator at your home university. If your application at your home university is successful, you will be nominated by your home university for a SEMP stay at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden.
The application deadline for an SEMP student exchange at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden:
- February 28, 2027 for the winter semester 2027/2028 (semester start August 2027)
Applications for the summer semester are only possible after prior arrangements.
